Every hockey player would obviously play better if they could skate faster, shoot harder, and hold onto the puck better.
Our power & performance off-ice class is specifically designed to develop your speed, strength, & agility and translate to faster, stronger play on the ice.
We train with a mix of dynamic, explosive exercises using age-appropriate weights, resistance equipment, and plyometrics.
An extremely undertrained area with young hockey players is combining physical skills with visual processing.
If you're quicker at processing visual information and can co-ordinate it with your body's movements better, you will make better, faster plays on the ice.
In this class we use various timed and reaction exercises to work on quick, accurate, and confident decision making.
For players that want to focus on their skating, our off-ice Mobility & Power class is specifically created to develop your skating mechanics.
Players will work on using their lower body properly to generate force, power, and efficiently change direction.
On-ice skating will develop your skill, but that skill is limited if you don't have a mobile and powerful foundation.
